  The only church I feel that lead me closer to GOD IS CANNAN THE WORD CHURCH...My mentor Pastor Sherman Fort preaches an teaches straight from the bible this us a few reasons why I love my church....

  I've looked for years to find a church where I simply feel at home; not a fashion show and Canaan is home for me. The extremely welcoming and loving atmosphere you experience here is how church is suppose to feel. Pastor Fort has an outstanding way of explaining the Bible and God in ways you can relate, understand and enjoy; no falling asleep here. I enjoy sunrise service but whichever service you choose to engage in (even Bible study) just know you will get your fill and be blessed.

  Pastor Fort is truly lead by God, he preaches the word straight from the bible. Praise and worship is a time where you can truly call out to God and you can fill his spirit in the sanctuary. The people are friendly and openly welcoming you to praise and worship with them, if you have not been i would surely suggest you attend.

  I came to visit this church last year and will not be back. I felt the pastor was to busy looking in the camera posing for tv. I will not be coming back. Didn't feel welcome at all.
